I woke up this morning to a client emailing me saying:

alex, version 11 of netsuite came out today and the webstore looks strange. Can you please take a look and see what is going on? Thanks
It seems that
NetSuite 11 is having some issues with the custom left nav and tag substitution. I am going through it now, but if you have problems, contact me and I will help you figure it out. So annoying when they just randomly add additional code to their process. The same thing happened with the last upgrade
Luckily I made some quick temporary changes to the left navigation and this was the responses I got:

Wow, What a fantastic rapid response. You rock!
Thanks so much,
Here is an example of a Landing Page Design that was completed for online accounting subscription service, also known as
eAccounting.
Here are some of the goals of
Landing Page Design for eAccounting:
- The old landing page was leveraging the inexpensive price and convenience as their USP. I have learn from A/B testing that showing price on a landing is a major conversion killer. Visitors shouldn't be influenced by price before they learn benefits
- The majority of sales come from a one-on-one consultation with new subscribers, so a major focus was to build leads and leverage the #800 for sign ups
- The idea of Accounting online needed to feel safe and secure
- Leverage the great customer testimonials
- Provide a FREE Quote as a focal point to collect new leads.

Check out this
NetSuite Item Template design that I just finished below. I will be experimenting more with Custom Item Templates over the next few weeks, so check back. This page is important to get your product pages indexed correctly for SEO.

Delivering effective
NetSuite Web Design takes more than web development or wed design skills. It is more than making deadlines, pretty designs or ensuring the NetSuite implementation is done correctly. My NetSuite clients want to improve their overall business. This includes maximizing their ROI and improve their
NetSuite SEO results.
For example, below is a client that had a nicely designed site already. The
Netsuite Web Design I completed ensured they are using the platform to the full potential. Here were the challenges that I came across:
- The design was decent already, but it wasn't good for conversion or SEO.
- The store was still using the default design from NetSuite templates, they needed their templates customized to the brand
- There is a lot of opportunity to maximize to increase partnerships, sales and traffic
- They had a lot of files that needed to stay out of Netsuite, because of broken links and SEO reasons
- They needed an easier way to navigate the website. With over 100 products, you need a simple navigation to make the customer experience more user friendly
- They are targeting a very niche market for Oil Analysis Software
Some of the approaches I took for this project:
- Homepage uses some basic flash for a branding element
- The NetSuite templates uses a dynamic left nav to help user experience
- The NetSuite header dynamic top nav to show user info & links based on login status
- Custom Item Templates to improve conversion to sale percentage

Dingo homepage was designed:
